Following the successful initial purchase made in 2023 of four units of the Kreon Turf Kreon Wind 360º Stadium stadium fan, the Club has decided to reinforce its commitment to this solution by incorporating two new units of the latest version of the system, bringing the total to 6 units to help, among other benefits, with the prevention of the appearance of fungi and diseases in the turf of the legendary Bilbao Stadium.

This expansion responds to the high level of satisfaction experienced by the Club's turf maintenance team since the equipment was put into operation, both in terms of performance and integration into the Stadium environment.

The new fans, specifically designed for use in large-format sports stadiums, bring distinctive value thanks to their advanced functionalities. These include power control, which makes it possible to adapt operation to the real needs of each moment, as well as the option of daily scheduling, facilitating efficient and automated management of the system.

Likewise, one of the most valued aspects has been the addition of day and night operating modes, a key feature for optimising performance while ensuring control of noise levels. This functionality is particularly relevant in urban environments, as is the case of San Mamés Stadium, where coexistence with the surroundings is a priority factor.

With this new expansion, the club consolidates a technological solution that not only meets its current operational needs, but also positions itself as a benchmark in the implementation of systems specifically designed for the context of modern stadiums and the use of a natural fungicide such as air, making it possible to reduce the use of chemicals on the turf, achieving an improvement in environmental management in the maintenance of the San Mamés turf.
